EMA APARTMENT BUILDING

The newly proposed house called EMA is located in Prague's Barrandov district, in a area that is connected to existing residential development. The residential building has 5 above-ground floors, 1 receding above-ground floor and 2 underground floors. The underground floors will contain 31 parking spaces, cellars and technical rooms. On the above-ground floors we propose to place 34 flats. The location of the house and the level of land development respect the urban and architectural character of the environment and meet the requirements for maintaining the well-being of housing and a healthy environment. The landscaping is based on the premise of creating a pleasant street space with a double-sided tree line, which establishes a principle that should continue in an easterly direction. The actual architectural design presents a simple elegant architecture with a combination of pleasing expression, form and function of the buildings. The building is articulated in material and massing. The individual flats are designed as 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms. LOXIA provided the architectural study, complete planning and building permit phase, execution documentation and author's supervision.
