U CUKROVARU: ELČA A EMČA

Prague 12  - Modřany

The Elca and Emca residential villas, with a total of 48 apartments, were built between 2012 and 2016. The name Elca is derived from the famous sugar cubes which were produced in the first half of the 20th century by the Modrany sugar factory, whose premises originally stood on this project site. Two separate three-storey buildings with their own entrances and access to the basement, contain a total of 48 apartments and sufficient parking spaces for residents. Most of the apartments have a 3+kk and 4+kk layout, however, there are also 2+kk and 5+kk plans. The well-designed layout of apartments, facades and the adjacent outdoor space, with which we have worked on with landscape architects, will satisfy those who desire modern and contemporary living. This project won first place in the "Best of Real Estate 2016" competition for an exceptional architectural concept of modern low-rise and low-energy buildings. The old brownfield site of the former Modrany sugar factory was naturally blended in with the original family houses and the newly built residential villas. LOXIA provided the architectural study, planning and building permit documentation and execution documentation, up to and including author's supervision.
