Horoměřice

Rezidence Velka Brana is a residential complex in the suburb of Horomerice, within walking distance of its centre, and is located approximately 10 kilometers from Prague. The Velka Brana complex consists of seven residential buildings and one multifunctional building. The residence is designed with a total of 195 apartments and several commercial spaces for services and smaller shops. The Velka Brana residence was built in two phases. In the first phase of the project 122 flats were designed which are located in seven low-rise buildings. Following the first phase, the second phase began which consisted of a separate project of a multifunctional building, along with another 73 apartments and several commercial spaces on the ground floor. This multifunctional building forms the entrance gate to the complex. Most apartments are designed with a balcony or terrace and the ground floor apartments have front gardens. The layouts of the apartments are sized from 1+kk to 4+kk. Each apartment includes its own cellar.Parking spaces for residents are located in the underground garage and additional parking spaces for visitors are in an above-ground parking lot. Even the youngest residents of the complex will be satisfied, as the project also included several playgrounds. The Velka Brana complex won the Architects' Award in the prestigious ‘Real Estate Project of the Year 2016’ competition.
